Dan Quayle served as the 44th Vice President of the United States of America from 1989 through 1993. He was elected to the U.S. Senate from the State of Indiana from 1980 and reelected in 1986. Prior to that he was elected to the the U.S. House of Representatives in 1976.

In addition to his role as strategic advisor to HHQ Ventures, Mr. Quayle currently serves as chairman of Cerberus Global Investments, LLC, which he joined in 1999. Cerberus is one of the world’s leading private investment firms with approximately $23 billion under management. It is headquartered in New York City, with affiliates and/or advisory offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. As chairman of Cerberus Global Investments, Mr. Quayle has been actively involved in new business sourcing and marketing. His extensive global network of public and private sector decision-makers, combined with his investment expertise, have significantly contributed to the growth of the firm.

After leaving public office, Mr. Quayle authored three books, and established and sold an insurance business in Indiana. He also served as a distinguished visiting professor of international studies at Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management, as well as serving on several boards of directors.

Mr. Quayle is a graduate of DePauw University and the Indiana University School of Law (Indianapolis).
